“I was very nervous and fearful about this surgery. Dr. Stratton put my wife and I totally at ease and gave us a high level of confidence going into the surgery. I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone who is in a similar situation as I was in.”

Not once during my time at the Ottawa General Hospital did I ever feel I was being neglected or forgotten. I felt like I was being cared for by family, not strangers. The entire staff is to be commended and I thank them all for their care and attention. Words cannot convey my gratitude.

I was very nervous and fearful about this surgery. Dr. Stratton put my wife and I totally at ease and gave us a high level of confidence going into the surgery. I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone who is in a similar situation as I was in. You should be very proud of her. You are lucky to have her on your staff.

B.D. and S.D. after S.D. underwent successful Spine Surgery by Dr StrattonThe Ottawa Hospital, 2019

Dr. Abdelbary and Dr. Meghan, his resident, and the entire surgical/anesthetic team responded to my health situation with clinical mastery that I did not know was even possible. The care was delivered with skill, gifted communication, compassion and inspiring excellence. Thank you for all the wonderful care I received. And I’m happy to report that while I may never get through an airport metal detector quite the same way, I am well on the road to recovery.

Thank you.
