Our Vision

The University of Ottawa’s Division of Orthopaedic Surgery has 39 surgeons, 32 of whom are involved with adult orthopaedics and six of whom are dedicated to paediatric orthopaedics at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). The faculty members of the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery perform more than 10,000 operations annually. Our surgeons strive to foster a climate of creative learning and innovative research so as to continually enhance the quality of care that we deliver. The Division of Orthopaedic Surgery is dedicated to being a model for excellence in musculoskeletal care and education as well as a leader in clinical outcomes and basic science research from childhood through adulthood.
