Welcome to the University of Ottawa Division of Orthopaedic Surgery, where we are committed to being a global leader in musculoskeletal education, clinical care, and innovative research. Our comprehensive education programs span the entire medical spectrum, from undergraduate medical students and post-graduate residents to national and international clinic fellows and continuing professional development for practicing clinicians and surgeons. Leveraging state-of-the-art facilities like the uOttawa Skills and Simulation Centre (uOSSC), we offer a learner-centred curriculum that prioritizes Competence by Design (CBD) and evidence-based surgical training. Our mission is to inspire future surgical leaders to provide compassionate, ethical, and high quality patient-centered care while advancing the field through collaborative basic science and clinical research.
